ABA Degrees Offered at University of Georgia

The University of Georgia has a number of options for prospective students who would like to study Applied Behavior Analysis. The school has a Bachelor of Science/Master of Science degree track in ABA. The school also offers a one-year Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. There is also an Educational Specialist (EdS) track for post-graduates.

University of Georgia Application Requirements
The University of Georgia presents a welcoming “face” to incoming students. Its admissions pages not only give applicants information about how to apply to the university but also information on Early Action or Regular Decision.
In the following paragraphs, prospective students will learn what they need to do to apply. The first paragraphs deal with incoming freshmen, as well as transfer and international students. The latter paragraphs explain the application process to prospective graduate students.
Incoming undergraduate students must submit:
- An application, either the University of Georgia application or the MyCoalition Application
- School transcripts from high school or colleges attended
- Scores for the ACT or SAT
- The application fee: US citizens pay $70, international students pay $85
- Letter of recommendation from a teacher
- Counselor report/ recommendation
Under certain circumstances, the university will waive the application fee.
It is important to mention that while the University of Georgia primarily considers a student’s academic achievements, there are also other factors that the admissions officers will look at when making a decision. These include activities like co-curricular activities, the students’ intellectual pursuits, public service and community activities, and creative endeavors.
Graduate students must submit application materials that are similar to the materials that undergraduates must submit. They must also be aware that the department they’re applying to may require additional materials, such as a CV or resume, a portfolio or a certain amount of professional work experience.
