The University of West Florida offers a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Arts in Exceptional Student Education with the option to add the applied behavior analysis course sequence.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences provides students with a foundation of information related to specific areas of individual and public health, including management of healthcare programs, resources, and facilities. The curriculum provides the necessary knowledge for students pursuing health-related careers. The program requires the completion of 60 credit hours. The undergraduate applied behavior analysis sequence consists of four courses taken as electives. The courses include Health Science Essentials of Behavior Analysis, Problem Identification and Functional Assessment in Health Science, Methodology in Behavior Analysis in Health Science, Functional Applications of Behavior Analysis in Health Science. The course sequence prepares students to take the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification examination.

The Master of Arts in Exceptional Student Education is designed to develop master teachers who are prepared for instructional and leadership roles in the special education field. Students must complete a 21-semester hour core component. Students must also complete a cognate program of a minimum of 15 semester hours in special and alternative education or applied behavior analysis. The applied behavior analysis courses include Foundations of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Assessments, Interventions, and Outcomes, Applied Behavior Analysis and System Support, Measurement in Single Case Design, Ethics in Applied Behavior Analysis, Supervision and Management Fluency, and Concepts of Applied Behavior Analysis. The applied behavior analysis course sequence prepares students to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification examination.

Federal Work-Study

The Federal Work-Study is an option funded by the federal government that enables students who show a significant financial need to work part-time to earn money for higher education.
