Prospective students of Eastern Michigan University who want to study applied behavior analysis will apply to programs offered by the College of Arts & Sciences and its Psychology Department. Available programs include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in applied behavior analysis, a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in clinical behavioral, and a Ph.D. with an available emphasis in applied behavior analysis.

Students who pursue the undergraduate psychology program with a concentration in applied behavior analysis will take classes that will allow them to take the test to receive the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) credential. Graduates will be able to work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Eastern Michigan University is located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and is a public research university that began its existence as Michigan State Normal School in the middle of the 19th century. There were only 122 students in the first graduating class of the original school. Around 23,000 students attend the university, which has a campus that covers 800 acres in Ypsilanti.
