Ideal candidates for the program are students who plan to practice as behavior analysts with individuals on the Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as related disorders in various environments. Students may want to consider the Advanced Certificate if they have a master’s degree in an area like psychology, education, or behavior analysis and are interested in becoming board certified.

Some of the areas graduates of the certificate program may work include government agencies, early intervention agencies, schools, and other exempt settings. The Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis requires that students earn 41 credits, and the Advanced Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis requires completion of 18 credits. Students enrolled in these programs may attend class on campus or via synchronous on-line web-conferencing software. The online learning option is designed to mimic the experience of an individual in traditional, on-campus settings. Eligibility for the graduate degree program requires that the student has earned a bachelor’s degree in a human services field with a minimum GPA of 3.0, as well as a resume, personal statement, two professional references, and an interview with the program’s faculty.
