The Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study provides students with the needed coursework to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination. Students must complete 18 credit hours and a thesis and non-thesis track are available. The required courses include Basic Principles of Behavior, Research Methods in Behavior Analysis, Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavioral Assessment and Functional Analysis, Ethical and Legal Issues in ABA, and Advanced Practice in Applied Behavior Analysis.
The Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate of Graduate Study helps students meet the needs of children with autism spectrum disorders in various types of educational settings. The program is offered in an accelerated format and a total of 15 semester hours are required for completion. The required courses include Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Instructional Methods for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Communication Skills for Students with Disabilities, ABCs of Applied Behavior Analysis, and Assessment and Interventions for Social Skills and Relationships in Children.

Rowan University is a public institution of higher learning residing in Glassboro, New Jersey. It is classified as a national doctoral research institution by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. It was established in 1923 as a teacher preparation college called Glassboro Normal School. It changed its name to New Jersey State Teachers College at Glassboro in 1937. In 1958 the school changed its name to Glassboro State College to more effectively demonstrate its mission. It became Rowan College of New Jersey in 1992 to honor a generous gift given to the college by Henry Rowan and his wife Betty. In 1997, the college finally became Rowan University. Today, Rowan University is home to more than 19,000 students on its 800-acre suburban campus. It operates on the semester-based academic calendar.

Federal Work Study
Rowan University participates in the Federal Work Study program that is funded by the federal government to provide funding to eligible students who demonstrate a financial need.
